UFC 145 draws a reported 15,545 attendance for $2.2 million live gate

ATLANTA - Saturday's "UFC 145: Jones vs. Evans" event drew a reported 15,545 attendees to Atlanta's Philips Arena and generated a live gate of $2.2 million.

UFC president Dana White revealed the figures at the evening's post-event press conference, which MMAjunkie.com attended.

Featuring a light heavyweight title contest between current champion Jon Jones and former titleholder Rashad Evans, UFC 145 marked the company's first trip to Georgia since UFC 88 in September 2008.
