Featherweight Pat Schilling says he has been released by the UFC. After an 0-2 run with the promotion, the Minnesota-based fighter late Monday said he no longer is with the company. Schilling announced the news on his official Twitter account, though his fighter profile still remains at UFC.com as of Tuesday morning.
Schilling had started his career 5-0 with five first-round stoppages in regional competition before he made his UFC debut this past January.
